Supporting Veterans: Link Logistics Launches ProVet Employee Resource Group
As part of the firm’s Veterans Day observance, Link Logistics announced the launch of ProVet, an employee resource group (ERG) dedicated to supporting its Veteran and military family team members.
ProVet—which stands for Programming Resources and Opportunities for Veteran Employees and Team—provides professional development opportunities, helps raise awareness of former service members’ experiences and works to increase Veteran representation in the workplace.
The ERG hosted its inaugural fireside chat event, which invited military Veterans at the firm to share their experiences navigating the workforce after transitioning to civilian life. Panelists included founding ProVet board members Mark Jacobsen, Jason Levine and Danny Kim, as well as ERG executive sponsor Joseph W. Finnigan and Link Logistics property manager Damien Romero. ProVet board member Caroline English also participated in the virtual event, which was attended by more than 300 Link Logistics team members.
“I am grateful to be a part of an organization like Link Logistics that is so supportive of its people, including Veterans like myself,” said Finnigan. “I look forward to working with our ProVet board to foster a community where Veterans, military family members and allies at our firm have a place to connect.”
Link Logistics is proud to support its Veteran and military family team members as the firm continues to build an inclusive and welcoming culture for all.
